Privacy Policy for Websites and Online Shops of STAINER
1. Principle
The protection of your personal data is particularly important to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the applicable legal regulations (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this privacy policy, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the scope of our website.
The use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data. Insofar as personal data (such as name, address, or email addresses) is collected on our pages, this always takes place—where possible—on a voluntary basis. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your explicit consent.
We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g., communication by email) may involve security vulnerabilities. Complete protection of data from access by third parties is not possible.
The use of contact data published within the framework of the legal imprint obligation by third parties for sending unsolicited advertising and information material is hereby expressly prohibited. The operators of the website expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited advertising, such as spam emails.
2. Data Storage
We collect log data (name of the accessed website, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, access status, browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, IP address, provider) solely for statistical analysis for the purpose of operating, securing, and optimizing our services. This data is not merged with other data sources. However, we reserve the right to subsequently review the log data if there are concrete indications of a justified suspicion of unlawful use.
In addition, the following data is stored for the purpose of contract processing: name, address, billing address, delivery address, telephone number, email address, ordered items, invoices, delivery notes, and credit notes.
The data you provide is required for fulfilling the contract and/or for carrying out pre-contractual measures. Without this data, we cannot conclude the contract with you. Data is not transferred to third parties, except for the transmission of payment data to the processing bank institutions/payment service providers for the purpose of charging the purchase price, to the transport/shipping company commissioned by us for delivery of the goods, and to our tax advisor to fulfill our legal tax obligations.
If a contract is concluded, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored until the expiry of the statutory tax retention period.
Data processing is carried out on the basis of the statutory provisions of § 96 (3) TKG and Article 6 (1) lit a (consent) and/or lit b (necessary for the performance of a contract) of the GDPR.
3. Email Advertising pursuant to § 107 (3) TKG
If we receive your email address in connection with the sale of a product or service and you have not objected to this — in particular by registering in the list pursuant to § 7 (2) ECG — we reserve the right, on the basis of § 107 (3) TKG, to regularly send you offers for similar products from our range, via email, to those you have already purchased. This serves to protect our legitimate interests — which prevail within the framework of a balancing of interests — in addressing our customers for marketing purposes.
You may object to the use of your email address for this purpose at any time, easily and free of charge, by sending a message to the contact option described below or via the corresponding link included in each promotional email.
4. Newsletter
You have the option to subscribe to our newsletter via our website. For this, we require your email address and your declaration that you agree to receive the newsletter. As soon as you register for the newsletter, we will send you a confirmation email with a link to verify your subscription (double opt-in).
You may withdraw your consent to the storage of your data, your email address, and their use for sending the newsletter at any time. The withdrawal can be made via the unsubscribe link in the newsletter or by contacting us using the contact details provided below.
5. Integration of Third-Party Services and Contentnhalten Dritter
It may occur that third-party content is integrated within this website, such as videos from YouTube or map material from Google Maps. This always requires that the providers of such content (hereinafter referred to as “third-party providers”) perceive the IP address of the users. Without the IP address, they would not be able to send the content to the user’s browser. The IP address is therefore necessary for the display of such content.
We make every effort to use only content whose providers use the IP address solely for delivering the content. However, we have no influence if third-party providers store the IP address, for example, for statistical purposes. Where this is known to us, we inform users accordingly.
6. Web Analytics
(1) This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; “Google”). The use includes the “Universal Analytics” operating mode, which makes it possible to assign data, sessions, and interactions across multiple devices to a pseudonymous user ID and thereby analyze a user’s activities across devices.
Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies,” which are text files stored on your computer that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. If IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will, however, be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.
The IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and provide other services related to website and internet usage to the website operator. These purposes constitute our legitimate interest in the data processing.
The data we send and that is linked to cookies, user identifiers (e.g. User-ID), or advertising IDs is automatically deleted after 60 months. Data whose retention period has been reached is automatically deleted once a month.
Further information on terms of use and data protection can be found at https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html and at https://policies.google.com/?hl=de.
You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser software; however, please note that in this case, you may not be able to use all features of this website to their full extent.
You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google, as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser add-on.
Opt-out cookies prevent the future collection of your data when visiting this website. To prevent the collection of data across different devices by Universal Analytics, you must opt out on all systems used.
If you click here, the opt-out cookie will be set: Deactivate Google Analytics
The relationship with the web analytics provider is based on the Privacy Shield framework. Data processing is carried out on the basis of § 96 (3) TKG and Article 6 (1) lit a (consent) and/or lit f (legitimate interest) of the GDPR.
Our legitimate interest according to the GDPR is the improvement of our website and our online presence. Since we care about the privacy of our users, user data is pseudonymized.
(2) On this website, technologies of the web analytics service “Inspectlet,” operated by Inspectlet, Santa Clara, USA (www.inspectlet.com), are used — based on our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of user behavior for optimization and marketing purposes pursuant to Article 6 (1) lit f GDPR — to collect and store data.
From this data, pseudonymized usage profiles may be created and analyzed for the same purpose. Cookies may be used for this. Cookies are small text files stored locally in the browser’s cache. They enable the recognition of a browser.
The information generated through the cookie in the pseudonymized user profile is not used to personally identify visitors to this website and is not merged with personal data of the person behind the pseudonym.
If you disagree with the storage and evaluation of this data from your visit and wish to deactivate this for the future, you can prevent the use of cookies and therefore the participation in tracking.
You can obtain an opt-out cookie from Inspectlet via the following link, which will prevent visitor data from being collected and stored by Inspectlet in the future: https://www.inspectlet.com/optout. The opt-out cookie is set by Inspectlet.
7. Cookies
Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device with the help of your browser. They do not cause any damage.
We use cookies to make our services more user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They allow us to recognize your browser during your next visit.
If you do not wish this, you can configure your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and allow this only in individual cases.
However, disabling cookies may limit the functionality of our website.
8. Chatbot
This website uses Tidio, a chat platform that connects users with the customer support of Stainer Schriften & Siebdruck GmbH & Co. KG (in this case, the brand Print Tattoo by Stainer). We collect email addresses only with the users’ consent in order to initiate the chat. The messages and exchanged data are stored within the Tidio application. For more information, please refer to Tidio’s privacy policies.
Stainer Schriften & Siebdruck GmbH & Co. KG uses these messages and data solely to address the issues or inquiries submitted by users. Your personal data is processed and transmitted in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).
9. Your Rights
You generally have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, withdrawal of consent, and objection. If necessary, please contact our data protection project managers directly.
If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or that your data protection rights have otherwise been infringed, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (Austrian Data Protection Authority, Hohenstaufengasse 3, 1010 Vienna, dsb@dsb.gv.at).
